For years I have traveled abroad, mainly the Orient. I found performing in
Tokyo, Japan a new and delightful experience. Learning to speak the
language, meeting new people of another culture and admiring their
understanding and love for American music. So what I have done is
record some of the songs that are loved by my Japanese audiences,
These songs were recorded live. All the little noises you hear are
real. Nothing is planned or dubbed in. This is something I would
like to share with my friends, my fans, and some if the people who have
made it possible for me to be successful un achieving some of my
goals. It is with love, happiness and health, that I want to share
these precious moments with you. |

At the
conclusion of this album a thought came to light what have I done for me
to be grateful about? The answer was instant. It is not what
have I done, it was what God has done for me. My beautiful children,
and my grandson. These parental fulfillment's were and are my true
obligations first and foremost in my life. When my children came
into this world and into my life, I went on a very long vacation, away
form the music to truly accept and enjoy the responsibilities of being a
father. Only now and then, would I venture out of my enjoyment to
let my fans know, that I was still here. To all the fathers of
America, yes it was worth those precious moments. My family and my
children are first in my life and will always be. As we may now
speak of music, there are many different tenures in this music that we
call Jazz. Mine is not really different. I have approached
this venture, so that it will last for a very long, long time.
Certainly for generations to come. Nothing that we do is original.
We just arrange and rearrange, what is already in our hemisphere.
Good music is love. Like God is to our heaven. Sit back and let us
enjoy. |

Live at the Sportsman's Lodge in North Hollywood,
California... featuring the Wayland Picard Trio.
Recorded with an atmosphere of Cabaret and Night
Club feeling some audience participating in monologue, some jokes
and just a wonderful evening of entertainment at it's best. The way
entertainment is supposed to be. As always when Errol is performing,
nothing is planned, it is always and enjoyable evening. |

There was a time when there were real instruments
played such as cellos, violins, trumpets, real drums (percussions) so I
sat down and wrote these songs. I never released them due to my
traveling around the world in places like Paris, France - Naples, Rome,
Florence, Capri and some other places in Italy. The there was
England, Bermuda, Japan, Israel, New York, Canada, I could go on.
The thing is I did not release these songs. I've decided to have
them made into a CD so that you can listen to some real recordings.
So here the are... a collage of love. Let me share them with you.

It was the morning before the Sammy Davis Show and I
had nothing planned for the evening except watching Sammy do his thing..
The phone rang and in Japanese, Yuki San was on the phone. He said sorry
Errol, I know you're tired. Mr. Yoa called me and he wants you to do to a
show after Mr. Sammy Davis Jr. Oh Errol, he said, how much you want
for the show? But before I could answer, he said I told him five
thousand dollars for the show. Errol, he is a very important
customer and he requested for you and Danielle from the small band so
maybe pay more? As a special gift from Yuki San, he had the engineer
record the evening. I want to share this with you. All the
sounds are as they were that evening. There were about five hundred
people or more having fun. That is what life was all about for us in
the early eighties. |

A message of love
In this wonderful world, a world in which we only reside there are too
many people with negative thoughts. I cannot change the world
neither can you, however let us understand there is more than enough for
all of us. We live in a beautiful Country called America, let us
live in Peace, Love and most of all Harmony. Always try to say good
things about your friends. It is so easy to make an enemy and it
is very hard to keep true friends. Love brings happiness.
Live with music listen to the music, all of the music, music is love. To
all my good friends Let us live in peace
